Our answer to the masses endless craving for Yellowfin tuna. We have done tons of taste tests and every time the rainbow runner has won over yellowfin in a sashimi showdown. We really only eat this fish raw. It has an amazing buttery texture.

It is highly sustainable. It’s a shame most people don’t know about this fish and therefore there is not much of a market for them. We hope to change that. Next time you are craving some sashimi or sushi rolls give the “Hawaiian Salmon” a try! We tend to get these fish from early spring until late fall.

Rainbow Runners are a brilliant purple and blue. The top is a purple shading to blue-green on the sides. The belly is silver with a yellow tint. They have a bright yellow stripe running the length of its body.
